You can stay in one of the Lodges for up to 4 weeks. You can stay at Crows Hall for a longer period for further details email: info@wakeslodges.co.uk
2- 4 people. It is possible to accommodate more people with the benefit of additional beds. Please contact our team to confirm whether there is a room for additional people.
Check out is 10:00am on the day of departure with check in at 4:00pm. (May be subject to change at the discretion of the management.)
We include all linen and towels. We also provide robes and slippers for use with the hot tub. The slippers are yours to take home but we respectfully request that the robes are left behind to be laundered and re-used.
Smoking is permitted outside on the veranda of the Lodges and in the private fenced garden at Crows Hall. It is not permitted inside.

Yes, Crows Hall has Fibre broadband. Our Lodges benefit from satellite broadband. Please note that internet access is offered for light recreational purposes only and is not meant for business use. Speed/service may vary due to circumstances beyond our control.

The five hundred acre site benefits from wonderful walks and a stunning 2 acre lake which is stocked with Carp and Rudd
Wakes Hall Farm is located in Wakes Colne, a village in the Colne Valley adjacent to Chappel where it shares Post Office, Pub and Chappel Viaduct consisting of 32 arches spanning a length of approximately 1,136 feet providing the railway line which links trains from London Liverpool Street via Marks Tey to Sudbury
We do welcome group bookings
We do accept groups looking for a quiet hen party or stag do. However, we must stress that our Lodges and Crows Hall are extremely quiet and we would ask any guests who make excessive noise or exhibit disruptive behaviour to leave.
The Lodges are accessible. Crows Hall is a listed building, and we would not consider suitable for someone with accessibility needs. Please see below our access statement for the Lodges and Crows Hall.

Yes Crows Hall BBQ is located on the patio and Lodges BBQ area is at the bottom of the steps at the back of the Lodge. The BBQs are the disposable variety.
Yes, visitors are welcome during the day but we politely request that they do not stay overnight.

We accept well-behaved dogs at a charge of £35 per dog. (Maximum 2 or 3 small dogs.)
The Lodges have a generator which should start automatically should there be a mains power failure.

Lakeside Lodges in North Essex
Experience stunning, lakeside Lodge accommodation in the heart of the beautiful Suffolk and Essex border. Wakes Hall Lodges are nestled in 500 acres of secluded private land. The site boasts a stunning lake which is perfect for birdwatchers and nature lovers. The fishing lake is stocked with Carp and Rudd. The glistening waters are a playground for wildlife. Should you be lucky you may even catch a glimpse of a kingfisher.
Watch the sunset over the lake from your lakeside holiday Lodge and see the moon reflected in the dappled water. It is hard not to be wowed with a drink in your hand on your own private veranda overlooking the water and if you fancy a dip you can soothe and massage your muscles in your own bubbling hot tub. Our Lodges are recently built and provide the best quality furnishings including super king size beds and sofas you’ll want to curl up in. All this and on your doorstep you are rewarded with the tranquil peace of nature.
